As part of Economic Empowerment strategy to PLWHAs and grannies caring for orphans and other vulnerable children, NYIMUPHA runs an animal revolving scheme whereby clients are identified by the volunteer Net work support Agents and recommended to the organization for possible assistance.
Animals such as goats, piglets and heifers have been given out to PLWHAs to enable them improve on their nutrition and get incomes out of the profits realized from the sale of such animals.
Once one is give say two piglets, he/she is required to pay back the same number of animals to the organization and those are usually given out to other clients on the pending lists.
A number of clients that have benefited from the project testify having benefited and achieved their goals in the short run.
